LVCT - Communications Technologies Software - Version 1.2

The LVCT software is a Windows^® -based application that allows programs to be downloaded in the DSP memory of the Reconfigurable Training Module (RTM), Model 9431, used in the 8087 Lab-Volt Communications Technologies System. This software is also an intuitive user interface to:

Study a variety of communications technologies such as: PAM, PWM, PPM, PCM, DPCM, Delta Modulation, CVSD Modulation, ASK, FSK, BPSK, QPSK, DQPSK, QAM, DQAM, and ADSL.
Display the complete functional block diagram of the system studied.
Generate signals using the built-in generators: Function Generator A and B, Binary Sequence Generator, and Clock Generator.
Connect virtual probes to test points in the block diagram of the system studied to observe real signals using the built-in instruments.
Display different signals using the built-in instruments: Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, True RMS Voltmeter, Logic Analyzer, and Constellation Viewer.
Access to memory content through Data Tables.
Display, modify, and save the content of Data Tables.
Import and export the contents of Data Tables from and to Matlab.
Display diagrams that show how to connect the equipment.
Insert faults in the system for troubleshooting purposes.

At the moment, LVCT is available in English and French.

LVCT can be installed in a host computer running under Windows^® XP or Windows^® Vista.

New features and enhancements of LVCT, Version 1.2:

Minor problems from the previous version have been fixed.
PCM, DPCM, Delta Modulation, CVSD Modulation, and eye diagrams can now be studied.
Enhanced navigation between windows in the software.

Minor problems from the previous version have been fixed.
LVCT is now available in French.
ASK, FSK, and BPSK can now be studied.
User now have access to the help system
