Brief Description of the Problem:

No drivers are found when trying to connect to the Robot using the RoboCIM 5150 software or the 5100/5150 File Server Application.

Full Description of the Problem:

The drivers for the Robot, Model 5150, must be installed before connecting the Robot to the computer for the first time. If the Robot is connected to the computer before the installation of the RoboCIM 5150 software and/or the 5100/5150 File Server Application, the operating system automatically installs a default USB driver and the computer is not able to communicate with the Robot.

How to Fix:

The default driver installed by the operating system must be uninstalled using the Windows Device Manager. Once Windows default driver has been uninstalled, the operating system should automatically detect the proper drivers for the Robot, Model 5150.

Follow the procedure in the un_USBdrivers.pdf file to uninstall the Windows default driver.
